A first enquiry does not wait until tomorrow morning.
Someone looking for a solicitor calls three firms. The AGENTALK agent answers on the first call, identifies the matter, quotes fee policy from the firm’s own knowledge base, books a consultation and hands over a summary — at eight in the evening too.
What gets lost on the phone today.
Enquiries that arrive after hours
A legal enquiry is born from an event — a dismissal, an accident, a letter before action — and usually in the evening. Whoever is not answered calls the next firm, and does not call back.
Screening calls that cost fee-earner hours
A large share of enquiries fall outside the firm’s practice areas, or have no cause of action. Each is still a ten-minute call with the person whose time is most expensive.
An enquiry not written down is an enquiry lost
A name and a number on a note, with no matter type and no record of what was said. Two days later you cannot pick the conversation up where it stopped.
Questions we hear from your industry.
Does the agent give legal advice?
No, and it must not. It identifies the type of enquiry, gives general information and the fee policy the firm has defined, and books an appointment. Anything substantive goes to a solicitor — that is a hard rule in the agent’s configuration.
What about privilege and confidentiality?
Calls are encrypted in transit and at rest, access is granted per user, and automatic deletion policies can be set. The platform operates under ISO 27001, 27017 and 27701.
Can it screen by our practice areas?
Yes. You define which areas the firm takes and what to say when an enquiry falls outside them — including a referral to another firm if you want one. The screening happens during the call, before anything is booked.
